What is Desiguru? What does it mean and why is it called that?
Desiguru is a humble group of 10 (technically 11) families mostly from West Bengal and currently in Southern California. Through an interesting web of former connections and college days, they soon bonded as their “country folk.” “Country folk” is the definition of Desiguru.
Where in India is Desiguru from?
The majority of the Desiguru is from the state of West Bengal.
What does it mean to be Bengali?
Bengali is an ethnicity of people from the region of Bengal, a region that is divided between India and Bangladesh. Bengali is an ethnicity not to be confused with the nationalities/national origins of Indian or Bangladeshi.
